I personally like the opportunities that are presented by a combined multidisciplinary course with separation for the appropriate skill stations. Trauma is managed with a team approach, to build the knowledge and skill base as a team has a lot of merit in my mind. Having said that, I can still see value in the TNCC. Certainly in Australia at present there are very few alternative courses available.
