Some months ago (probably about 6 to be exact) I began this project to
determine How EMTs and Paramedics are utilized, viewed, and paid in the
Hospital, particularly in the ED. Many different hospitals in nearly every
state have a job description that is written for EMS providers.

I initially sent the survey by email until Valerie DeFrance offered to
assist by putting my survey on the Rural Medics website. I also received and
offer by Kris Kaull of www.paramedic.com to have the survey placed on his
site. I received somewhere around 40 responses, with useable answers and
quotes!

I thank everyone who has already participated.... but invite *anyone* left
who can answer questions regarding this subject to participate right away
before I must close the survey!

Please go to www.paramedic.com and find the survey at the very top in the
middle entitled "SURVEY: Paramedics Working in the Hospital".

I have had many more people send requests, looking for results or summaries
of the data I have collected. I am sorry but I will not be able to send
arbitrary information out.... if anyone has specific questions though,
please feel free to contact me. I am respecting each participants right and
expectation to confidentiality for answering these questions!

I will publish the results in the very near future!
