....meanwhile Sharon and Arafat were forced to the table, given the incentive of a dozen bottles of Brokenwood Shiraz and fine Australian cheese. There they pondered and argued the merits of each others point of view. Finally they reached agreement and proffered their united view to the trauma-list on the prehospital use of needle thoracotomies and the appropriateness of permissive hypovolaemia in trauma.
