I can't find that on the site.

There is this, though:

The TRAUMA-LIST mailing list is based, moderated and archived at TRAUMA.ORG,
to provide a receptacle for educational materials, sources of information,
details of forthcoming events and eventually original articles,
contributions and papers relating to the field of trauma care. It aims to
bring together the knowledge and experience of doctors, nurses, paramedics,
researchers and all groups directly and indirectly related to trauma
management.

The bandwidth of this list is easily the greatest of any to which I
subscribe. Whilst I too am appalled at what is happening East of Cyprus,
there are equally dreadful things happening elsewhere in the world - Rwanda,
Zaire, Zimbabwe and Indonesia spring most readily to mind - and in the UK
papers in the last day or two there has been considerable discussion of a
shop keeper who has been severely injured, including having an eye gouged
out with a broken bottle, by juveniles. His shop has been robbed at least 100
times.

I and you can read about all these in many other places - the BBC, CNN or
whatever you please. I am a member of this list to discuss trauma options,
not politics, and although I too have a delete key that I use freely, that
does not affect my telephone bill. I have seen some postings that reflect
self interest and positions from physicians that are unworthy of the
profession in the last few days. When we know all there is to know about our
job we can tell other people how to do theirs. Until then, I do not think
this is the place for political posturing. The paragraph on the website I
quote fits my view of this list.

The Purpose of the Trauma-list mailing list
  ==============================

Here is Trauma.Org's initial mission statement, formulated in August 1995
and still up on the web site:

'trauma.org exists to promote and disseminate the knowledge and practice
of injury prevention and trauma care throughout the world. Using the
Internet it aims to provide accurate, current information in the field of
trauma, and present an interactive forum for trauma care providers
throughout the globe. trauma.org aims to provide a repository for
educational materials, sources of information, details of forthcoming events
and original articles, relating to the field of trauma care. Bringing
together the knowledge and experience of doctors, nurses, paramedics,
researchers and all groups directly and indirectly related to trauma
management, it will established an on-line, global, trauma community that
promotes and furthers the care of the injured patient. '
