Sorry, I meant iss...

Actually, I am a Jewish guy and I am planning on making aliyah some time
in the future. Still deciding where to do surgical training - Israel or
South Africa...

Praying for Israel every day

Dean

Hello Dean,

As someone who has dealt with the need for triage of casualties I fully
understand your point.

>Nine or twelve patients requiring surgery (often all with a RTS above
25)
often happen to visit
> us on a Saturday night - apart from the broken bones and walking
> wounded.

Even here, in what is considred a near war situation, 10 critically
injured
victime over a 24 Hr period is considered a mass casualty situation
which
drains a Level I trauma center's capabilities for quite a few days, and
does
not happen so often.

One question. What is RTS >25 ?? or is it ISS ??

Mickey
