Burn patients.

Alejandro,

Standard pain control would be to cover burns with clingfilm 
(=saranwrap in the USA I think) to prevent air movement over them, 
plus large doses of opiates (morphine) as part of balanced anaesthesia.

Not sure about flying out the patient you describe - maybe terminal 
care by a local physician near to home with easy access for relatives 
would be nicer. However, I guess the local docs may not feel that they 
can cope with this.
