For heaven's sake guys, Kate has to be able to classify the MOI for =
her trauma registry.  Where else would we get all of those lovely =
statistics of % blunt vs. penetrating trauma seen at our =
facilities? =20

Kate -- for consistency's sake you probably want to use a =
definition that is commonly used by other registries -- this would =
allow comparision of data from one institution to another.  I would =
recommend that you contact other Australian trauma centres for =
their definition.  Our definition is based on E-codes -- I'm not =
sure you have those Down Under?
