The ICEM is for anybody who is involved in emergency medicine. they are well attended - nurses, doctors haven't seen too many paramedics. Surely worth a trip to Edinburgh - if only for the whiskey trail!! You should not be disappointed. > Aruni Sen > MS FRCS FFAEM > CONSULTANT IN ACCIDENT & EMERGENCY > WREXHAM MAELOR HOSPITAL > NORTH EAST WALES NHS TRUST > WREXHAM LL13 7TD > DIRECT LINE : 01978 (72)5555 > SECRETARY : 01978 (72)5498, (72)5499 > FAX : 01978 725168 > EMAIL: aruni.sen@new-tr.wales.nhs.uk <mailto:aruni.sen@new-tr.wales.nhs.uk> -----Original Message----- From: Steve Bixby [SMTP:sbixby@montana.com] Sent: Friday, January 18, 2002 11:45 PM To: trauma-list@trauma.org Subject: ICEM conference-thoughts? Can anyone who has attended one of the past ICEM conferences give me some feedback? Are these conferences well attended and do they really deal with Emergency Medicine, or is it more critical care? This year's conference will be in Edinburgh--do you think it will attract physicians from all over Europe or just the UK? And do physicians attend, or is it geared more for administrators or nurses or ? Thanks in advance--any feedback would be greatly appreciated. Steve Bixby
