Hi all We're compiling a regional trauma data dictionary, and have conflicting views on the definition of penetrating trauma. Obviously a gsw or stabbing is likely to be penetrating, what about falling through a glass window and getting a laceration? What about a chainsaw injury? Can anyone provide their concise definition from their data dicitonary? Many thanks Kate Kate Curtis Trauma Coordinator St George Hospital Gray St, Kogarah NSW, 2217 ph: (02) 9350 3499 or (02) 3950 1111 page 019 fax: (02) 9350 3974 email: curtisk@sesahs.nsw.gov.au *********************************************************************************** This email and the files transmitted with it are confidential and intended solely for the use of the individual or entity to whom they are addressed.
