Rainer,

To the best of my knowlege it doesn't matter; there are some studies on=
this topic, but they are inconclusive. Most of the research has been d=
one on hypothermia during cardiopulmonary bypass - no differences found=
.

best regards

Walter

having been intrigued by the recent discussion about acidosis and
hypohermia, i'd like to ask the following question:

do you correct for the patient's temperature when determing pH / BE,
basically do you favour alpha-stat or pH-stat thinking ?

have a prosperous, and most of all: peaceful new year !

happily using linux and pine !
