Morphin may cause weakend caontractions of the uterus and may lead to 
depressed breathing in the newborn infant. So we should consider this 
when reasoning about treatment of severe pain in the (pregnant) trauma 
victim.

As I understand you, that was exactly what you did: O2, being prepared 
for delivery, rapid transport to next available unit  with c-section, 
*and* to care for the mother is to care for the child (appropriate 
reduction, adaequate analgetics, rapid transport, etc..) . Seems a 
perfect action to me!
