Unfortunately, this drug is not available in the IV because = of the manufacturer. I was given Phenergan once, in IM and it worked well. I also see this = first hand when it is given alone for nausea. Zofran is another wonderful option. However, costly. In respect to the habits of the practitioners that continue to order = Demerol and Phenergan I do I agree, poor. I question it relentlessly, and it usually gets me the option to manage = with MS or Dilaudid and no anti-emetic approximately 50% of the time. What suggestions can you offer to win the other 50%?
