Mark
Try an Insurance company called Iron Trades. They covered our ambulances
in Wales. The cover was any driver over the age of 23, and was used to
insure Ambulances, FR cars and 4x4 vehicles. If you want further info
please contact me off list on HYPERLINK
"mailto:AA2@btinternet.com"AA2@btinternet.com.

Subject: UK Insurance - help!

Sorry to go non-medical but we need some help!

Anyone in the UK know of any Insurance Companies that will cover
'specialist rescue vehicles' (VOLVO V70 T5 estate in full ambulance
livery).

Our Medical Rescue Team has just purchased this brand new vehicle with
charitable funds and donations, to assist our work at the forthcoming
2002 Commonwealth Games and pre-hospital care in our area, but despite
all of our efforts and using cat1 qualified drivers we are having
considerable difficulty insuring the vehicle, because our work is so
unique and we are not part of the ambulance service.

Any ideas?
Thanks
Mark F
