Dear All - something clinical and practical for a change We routinely perform aortogram and oesophagogram, and u/s heart on all stable patients with transmediastinal gunshot wounds. Is there any center out there that uses CT chest routinely to screen patients that may require angiography and swallow - looking at the tract of the bullet? We see approximately 6-8 patients per month - sometimes more. We do have a spiral CT in the trauma unit. Thank you for your response in advance.
