You may be correct in your cynisiscm about CPR in trauma, never the less 
there is colleague who needs support for having been in a difficult  and 
charged situation. Emails do not carry the ovewhelming nature of these events 
for the pre hospital provider on scene, who often has little or no immediate 
backup or support, and is left with conflicting emotions. It may not be the 
place on a list to counsel such an event, but I feel you have been too harsh.
