LAC-USC
is the primary traching hospital of the University of Southern

School of Medicine. The hospital is a 1200 bed acute care

which is a Level 1 trauma center with 7000 trauma admissions

each year.
The Surgical Critical Care Unit is a modern, fully computerised |

18 bed
facility. Approximately 1000 patients are admitted to

each year,
the majority being trauma. |

provides advanced clinical training in surgical critical care.
